The organization was founded by Kafue community leaders in August, 2006. Amos Youth Centre is registered under the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services through the Non-Governmental Organizations’ Act, 2009 (Act No. 16 of 2009). Certificate No. RNGO 101/0070/13.

We believe that when children believe in themselves, they can create change beyond our wildest imagination. We create quality and inclusive education, health, entrepreneurship and leadership development opportunities for vulnerable Zambian youth and women, so they can foster positive change in their communities. We envision thriving and prosperous communities across Kafue, Zambia, led by local youth and women.
